Ballard Kitchen is a kitchen incubator dedicated to helping early and middle stage catering, retail and wholesale food businesses. Kitchen incubators are mostly found in cities with significant levels of food safety regulation where capital investment in commercial kitchen equipment can be prohibitive for a starting food business. By covering the capital cost of a shared kitchen facility, Ballard Kitchen enables start-up businesses to develop and grow. Current hourly lease rates are $10.00 to $15.00 per hour.
