Haddon Kitchen Incubator is a full-service kitchen incubator run by industry veterans. We provide shared and exclusive use kitchen facilities for rent by the hour or on a recurring basis as dictated by the needs of your business. We also provide dry and cold storage space for rent, accept deliveries from your vendors, and manage a shared purchase program. We have an event space available for classes, demonstrations, and catered events.  As an incubator, we hold community events to help you market your goods to the local area, as well as help form industry relationships. We provide common business services such as mail acceptance, phone service with auto-attendant and custom forwarding, invoicing, and basic website and email services to help you project a professional presence to potential clients. We plan to hold regular member meetings and workshops to help you build your business acumen and ensure you are compliant with all industry regulations, as well as to network with other members to grow your B2B network.

 

Equipment available includes, but is not limited to a full hot line with 6 burner ranges with integral ovens, a double-basket fryer, and 60" charboiler, 4 convection ovens, 2 proofers/warmers, 2 slicers, a dough sheeter, mixers, food processors, and a variety of small appliances, refrigeration, freezers, and a walk-in cooler, prep racks, and 5 independent workstations.

 

We rent event space, catering equipment, and a public sales counter in addition to the kitchen.

 

Haddon Kitchen Incubator is available 24/7 via a secure member-only card access system. We have plenty of well-lit off-street parking which is food-truck friendly. The facility is situated on a main street with plenty of foot and vehicle traffic, not some remote warehouse. We offer a climate-controlled facility with wifi and other amenities during your stay. The entire facility and surrounding grounds is monitored with a security and alarm system for fire/police/medical as well as a robust camera system covering every inch of the facility with multiple camera angles and audio capture. 

 

Booking is on-demand on our reservation management website. You can always see who else has reserved kitchen time and any specific equipment to help you plan efficient use of your time and avoid resource contention. Members have access to a self-service portal for reservations, invoicing, member document storage, member handbook, bulletin board, and other membership and business tools.

 

Pricing is determined by your business needs, as described on our website.  If you are just starting out and don't know how much time and what equipment you need, you can pay-as-you go anytime with a prepaid reservation via our online booking system. Spot use plans are $28 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. Need a regular slot? We have tiered memberships with volume discounts- the more hours per month you need, the lower the hourly cost. Caterers and restauranteurs needing regular use of the entire kitchen for events can negotiate a discounted flat monthly or per-event fee instead of tracking their hourly use.
