One of the biggest obstacles for starting a food business in Chicago is the high cost of setting up a commercial kitchen. Kitchen Chicago exists to help you overcome that obstacle. We are a fully equiped, commercially licensed, shared use kitchen in Chicago, IL, allowing you to build your business on an as needed basis with lowered risk and minimized start-up costs.
Kitchen Chicago is a 1200 sq. ft. kitchen facility, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A quick summary of our equipment is listed to the right. The only items we ask our clients to bring are small wares such as utensils and scales. When you're using Kitchen Chicago, the kitchen is entirely yours, unless you choose to share it with another client.
We can accomodate a wide range of needs, and support growing businesses. We've had everything from one baker to a team of 10 chefs using our kitchen at one time. Whether its daily production runs or one time catering events for 200+ guests, we have the space.
